The purpose of Social Action committee is to be involved in Community outreach and help those in need: locally and globally. We work with all our members and have recently partnered with the school to implement our projects.

Every year we will identify priority areas and every year we will revaluate our projects and continue to improve our work. We are also committed to hearing from TKA members on what are priorities.

Key accomplishments:

1. Assists with individuals who experience homelessness
   • Out of the cold evening: preparing, serving a meal, making gift baskets
   • Collected and prepared gift bags for Teens living at Covenant house


2. Assist at Vaughn Food bank
   • Yom Kippur drive
   • Family day to sort and put away food


3. Assist Women and children who are in shelters
   • Deliver Food weekly from the Farmer's market
   • Collect Canadian Tire money and send it to Yellow Brick House
